The crash test track gives us the opportunity to develop products with better crash properties, thereby reducing the risks during transport. This competence centre for safety technology is not only used for internal development projects, but we can also offer testing and our expertise for organizations outside the company.<\/p>

With the crash test track, we can test all typical crash pulses used in automotive systems today, with decelerations up to and past 50 g. The track is operated by experienced engineers with extensive knowledge of crash testing and simulation. Klippan Safety performs both static and dynamic tests to ensure that legal and customer-specific requirements are met.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

The crash test track is based on a sled with universal mounting options and is accelerated by a set of elastic bands. The sled is retarded by plastic deformation of steel bars, which allows a precise regulation of the crash pulse. The initial speed at impact and the deceleration curve can be adapted for each load and crash occasion, to generate a precise and accurate crash pulse.<\/p>
