Klippan Safety AB and its subsidiaries are today part of CalixKlippan AB, which is owned by Bark Invest AB.
1877
The predecessor of the current Klippan Safety is founded as a rope warehouse in Sweden
1953
Klippan seat belt for passenger cars is launched
1994
A group of private investors acquires the company and automotive components now become the core business
2000
The first business is established in Brazil.
2002
A Polish textile manufacturer is acquired and becomes Klippan Safety Polska Sp. z.o.o
2006
A new production facility is built in Stargard, Poland
2007
Klippan Safety GmbH is founded in Munich, Germany
2009
Klippan Safety awarded with the "MAN Trucknology Supplier Award 2008"
2015
Klippan Safety Ltda is founded in São Paulo, Brazil.
2015
Klippan Safety is awarded the "Volkswagen Group Award 2015".
2018
New production facilities are built in Stargard, Poland and in Sulzemoos, Germany.

Brazilian operations move to new production facility in Taubaté, São Paolo
